Superabrasive Grinding Wheels

Anytime you buy a diamond or CBN wheel for your surface grinder, make sure that you have an appropriate Sopko wheel adapter to go with it. When you mount the wheel, leave the adapter on it for the life of the wheel. When you change wheels, remove the superabrasive wheel from the grinder adapter and all. That way, when it's time to use the wheel again, the wheel will already be trued to your spindle. This will not only save you time but you'll also save a lot of money in expensive diamond or CBN abrasive that would have been lost in the re-truing process.
