A customer of ours, had “dozens” of used CNMG43xxx inserts laying around his facility. The inserts are used up on the (4) 80° cutting edges only. The (4) 100° cutting edges are still brand new. Imagine (4) cutting edges per insert times dozens of inserts equals great value ($$$) sitting around the shop. His inquiry was asking if there’s a holder with a pocket designed for the 100° cutting edge. He desired a 1” square-shanked (external) NEUTRAL holder. We found a Kennametal MCHNN164C stock standard. Customer was thrilled.
