Creating a safe work environment is a critical component of reopening the businesses that support our country. Using OSHA’s Three Lines of Defense, MSC can assist in your preparations for safely reopening or ramping up production. Products are organized by type of control: Engineering Controls, Administrative/Work Practice, and Personal Protective Equipment, so that you are able to quickly find the information you need.

According to OSHA’s Three Lines of Defense, Engineering controls are the most effective defense against workplace hazards. Engineering controls either eliminate the hazard or isolate workers from the hazard source. An example of an engineering control is eliminating employee contact with shared surfaces by installing touchless doors and dispensers.
