In a recent article on Better MRO, we featured Millat Industries; three generations of an Ohio family that have quietly grown into a high-volume manufacturing business in auto and aero. They've been in business since 1966 by building strong partner relationships and leveraging lean manufacturing principles. Just in the automotive side of their business, they are making an excess of 40,000 parts a day.
They even use robotic arms on the shop floor, and one came from the set of Jurassic Park!
