Bandsaw blades losing teeth

If your bandsaw blades are losing teeth after just a few days of usage, you could be using the wrong blade.

For example, if you used a 1/4" wide carbon steel blade for thin steel and aluminum plate, we'd recommend another option. Carbon steel is a lightweight bandsaw blade material, generally used for wood, non-metals, and light metal cutting. We'd suggest a bi-metal blade, and proper break-in procedures.
