IMTS 2022 Video: See the MSC Innovations Amping Up Machine Shop Performance

MSC is showcasing products and services at IMTS in Chicago this week that are designed to recharge machine shops grappling with the triple threats of inflation, labor shortages and supply-chain disruption. In today’s video, Jamie Goettler, senior director of metalworking sales and innovation, discusses TechMate™, MachineMax Pro®, MSC Lens™ and the Accupro® ST Series.

Techmate™, developed with Paperless Parts, allows businesses to collaborate with MSC in a secure digital environment at no charge.

MachineMax Pro®, a certification program, gives customers a one-stop shop for training in the use of MSC’s entire product lineup. "It allows our customers to package an investment in tools and all the ancillary products around their machines to help them set it up faster and start making chips," Goettler says. "If they can make chips faster, then they can start making money faster."

The Accupro® ST Series of tools essentially offers predictive milling, allowing customers to purchase an “off-the-shelf” assembly and use interactive dashboards developed for the most common machines on shop floors.

MSC Lens™ combines real-world tool performance with machine-learning algorithms to determine the best product for specific customer needs.
